Tomorrow is the start of American Craft Brew Week (May 11-17). There are going to be may event this week across the Bay Area and the country. Information can be found at americancraftbeerweek.org. They are also encouraging every one to join them on facebook. Here are a few events that are going on in the Bay Area this week.
Rouge Public Ale House (San Francisco)
Monday May 11 To kick of the week they will be tapping a firkin keg at 5:30 pm at all of their ale houses.
Tuesday May 12 They will be holding a gourmet food and beer pairing at 6 pm.
Wednesday May 13 They will be holding a home brewing competition.
Friday May 15 John John Day where they will be tapping a new beer named after Rouges head brewmaster and head distiller. The new beer is a Dead Guy Ale aged in Dead Guy whiskey barrels. 6pm
Toronado (San Francisco)
Tuesday May 12 Lagunitas Night starts at 6pm. They will be featuring Vertical Gnarly, Cask IPA, Dogtown Pale, Undercover Ale and maybe more on tap.
Wednesday May 13 Sierra Nevada Night featuring draft specials.
21st Amendment (San Francisco)
Tuesday May 12 They will be holding special beer school classes at the brewery. There are going to be two different class instructed by their brewmaster and beer school teacher. More information can be found on their website.
